So why can’t @Dreamhost handle simply uploading photos to a WordPress blog on shared hosting. It’s so frustrating.
Changing Feeds to Use the Micro.blog app Part 1
So I want to use the Micro.blog app on iOS to post directly this blog. I had set up my account to use a tag based feed, but that wouldn’t work. A post type feed would though, so let’s see if this gets through.
Workflows & Posting
Where to post?
Thinking about where to do my microblogging. Right now, most of it lives as status posts here on my main blog, with a few specific (mostly long post announcements) going to my Micro.blog hosted site. Should I cross post statuses there? Or switch, leaving here for long form?
A Little Rube Goldberg
So, syndicating from my website to Micro.blog works great. The last couple posts had some trouble being translated to Twitter though. @manton, probably my fault between the character count and the links.
@Twitterrific saved the day with delete-and-edit.
You Mean, Saying “Sorry” Isn’t Enough!? Part 1

The Vox article he links to is great, too bad he can’t appreciate it.
You Mean, Saying “Sorry” Isn’t Enough!? Part 2
I can’t find the permalink to Winer’s post, so here it is in all it’s glory:
The new art form, and media critics, women judging the quality of male apologies. Why don’t we all just apologize for existing and be done with it.
MarsEdit for iOS
I know I’ve mentioned this before and @danielpunkass has far bigger fish to fry, but, after using WordPress’ web interface, I yearn even more for @MarsEdit on the iPad.
Fucking Nazis
I can’t believe I’ve had to add a “Nazis” tag to my blog. Ugh.
The New York Times is a Dumpster Fire 2
And on top of that, they don’t have online cancelation! The automated phone system couldn’t find my account since it was too old. I had to be transferred between two (very nice) agents and spend ~10 minutes to actually do it. Goodbye & good riddance @NYTimes.
